Daily Routine  

08:50am: Classroom doors are opened and children go into their classrooms.

09:00am: Start of the school day / attendance registers and dinner registers are taken.

10.25am: KS1 morning break.

10.45am: Otter classes morning break.

11am: Culm classes morning break.

12:00 – 1:15pm: EYFS lunch break

12.15 – 1.15pm: KS1 lunch break

12:30 – 1.30pm: KS2 lunch break

1.10pm: Children in EYFS, Year 1 and Year 2 line up to return their classes after lunch.

1.30pm: Children in KS2 line up to return to their classes after lunch.

3.30pm: End of the school day

3.30-4.30pm: After school clubs run from 3.30-4.30pm. A list of available clubs is issued every term for children to sign up.

Friday's at 9am: Every Friday at 9am we hold a 'Celebration Assembly' - families of children receiving 'Golden Pupil', 'Citizenship' or 'Aspirational Learning Award' certificates are invited to attend.

 

Lessons

EYFS/KS1

Children take part in daily literacy, maths, phonics and PE lessons. Our timetable is flexible to accommodate each of these subjects and to allow us to teach our topics according to the needs of the children.

KS2

Children take part in daily literacy and maths lessons. PE, music and spelling are taught discretely. Our timetable is flexible to accommodate each of these subjects and to allow us to teach our topics according to the needs of the children.

Assemblies

Mondays 9am: Whole School Assembly

Tuesdays 3pm: KS1 RE Assembly - led by a member of St. Andrew's Church

Tuesdays: KS2 in-class Assemblies

Wednesdays 10.40am: KS2 RE Assembly - led by a member of St. Andrew's Church

Wednesdays 3pm: KS1 Singing Assembly

Thursdays 2.50pm: KS2 Singing Assembly

Thursdays:  KS1 in-class Assemblies 

Fridays 9am: Whole school Celebration Assembly
