Daily Routine  

08:45am: Classroom doors are opened and children go into their classrooms.

08:50am: Start of the school day / attendance registers and dinner registers are taken.

10.15am - 10.30am: Year 2 and Year 6 break time

10.30am - 10.45am: Year 1 and Year 3 break time

10.45am - 11am: Year 4 and Year 5 break time 

12:00 – 12:50pm: EYFS, Year 1, Year 5 and Year 6 lunchtime 

12.50 – 1.40pm: Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 lunchtime

12:30 – 1.30pm: KS2 lunch break

 3.20pm: End of the school day

3.20-4.20pm: After school clubs run from 3.20-4.20pm. A list of available clubs is issued every term for children to sign up.

Friday's at 9am: Every Friday at 9am we hold a 'Celebration Assembly' - Golden Pupil certificates are given out every week to one child per class, and other achievements (both at school and at home) are celebrated.

 

Lessons

EYFS/KS1

Children take part in daily literacy, maths, phonics and PE lessons. Our timetable is flexible to accommodate each of these subjects and to allow us to teach our topics according to the needs of the children.

KS2

Children take part in daily literacy and maths lessons. PE, music and spelling are taught discretely. Our timetable is flexible to accommodate each of these subjects and to allow us to teach our topics according to the needs of the children.

Assemblies

Mondays 9am: Whole School Assembly

Tuesdays 3pm: KS1 RE Assembly - led by a member of St. Andrew's Church

Tuesdays: KS2 in-class Assemblies

Wednesdays 10.40am: KS2 RE Assembly - led by a member of St. Andrew's Church

Wednesdays 3pm: KS1 Singing Assembly

Thursdays 2.50pm: KS2 Singing Assembly

Thursdays:  KS1 in-class Assemblies 

Fridays 9am: Whole school Celebration Assembly
