Ventrus MAT

Daily Routine  

School starts at 8.50am and finishes at 3.20pm every weekday (totalling 32.5 hours)

08:45am: The main entrances and classroom doors are opened and children go into their classrooms.

08:50am: Official start of the school day / attendance registers and dinner registers are taken.

10.15am - 10.30am: Breaktime for Years 2 and 6

10.30am - 10.45am: Breaktime for Years 1 and 5

10.45am - 11am: Breaktime for Years 3 and 4

12:00 – 12:50pm: EYFS, Year 1, Year 2 and Year 6 lunchtime 

12.50 – 1.40pm: Year 3, Year 4 and Year 5 lunchtime

 3.20pm: End of the school day

3.20-4.20pm: After school clubs run from 3.20-4.20pm. A list of available clubs is issued yearly for children to sign up.

Fridays at 9am: Every Friday at 9am we hold a 'Celebration Assembly' - Golden Pupil certificates are given out every week to one child per class, and other achievements (both at school and at home) are celebrated.

Mondays 9am: Whole School Assembly

Tuesdays 2.50pm: Whole School Assembly

Wednesdays 3pm: KS1 Singing Assembly

Wednesdays: KS2 in-class reflection time

Thursdays 2.50pm: KS2 Singing Assembly

Thursdays:  KS1 in-class reflection time

Fridays 9am: Whole school Celebration Assembly
